Renovations Funded By Global Compassion

Alexei, the director of the ‘Father’s House’ is very pleased to report that funds donated by Global Compassion and its partners have enabled the staff to complete urgent renovation work within the buildings of the orphanage in preparation for the onset of winter where temperatures can fall below -30 degrees Celsius.

Walls have now been fully insulated and an under floor heating system installed in all dormitories making sure the children will be cosy throughout this coming winter. Some new wallpaper has definitely improved the overall appearance of the interior of the girls and boys rooms and corridors lifting everyone’s spirits in the process.

All the work was done by Alexei and the staff. As can be seen from the photographs, the children were also keen to get involved where appropriate!
